We have a new voice chat tat we are testing out. If you would like to get in o the fun folllow these instructions.
First go to www.ventrilo.com and download the 32 bit client version of the chat program.
Once you have installed the program you will be asked if you want to view the tutorial, click yes. The tutorial will guide you to where you need to go in order to enter the initialization information.
To the right of User Name there will be an arrow pointing right, click it.
This will open another box where you will click the NEW button then enter the name you want to use in chat.
Once the name is entered click ok.
Now click on the arrow to the right of server.
You will need to click the NEW button then enter the following information:
In the top box above the NEW button type in: TheCaddyShack
Hostname or IP: strontium.typefrag.com
Port Number: 53014
Password: shackers
Once this information is entered click ok.
If you see a message saying" MSG: server available" then you have completed the process correctly, just click connect to enter the voice chat room.
Once in the room you have one step left, click setup and look for a rectangle box with the word Hotkey to the left of it. This is where you set the key you will use to open your mic so you can talk. Just left click once in the box then click the key on your keyboard that you want to use. I am using the ALT key because it doesnt conflict with the hotkeys in Shot Online.
